Motorola Awarded $10.5Mn Contract In Oman

Motorola Inc. of the US announced on 19 July that it hadbeen awarded a $10.5mn contract to expand the digital cellular network in Oman.The network will provide for an increased capacity of 35,000 cellularsubscribers. Currently the network caters for 120,000 subscribers and isgrowing at an average rate of 3,000 to 4,000 subscribers per month.
