Germany's Babcock Wins $40Mn Contract For Saudi Cement Plant

Babcock BSH, a unit of Deutsche Babcock, has won a SR150mn ($40mn) contract to build a200,000 ton/year cement plant for the Saudi White Cement Company. The plant, which will belocated near al-Kharj, some 40kms. south of Riyadh, will cost SR300mn ($80mn) and isscheduled to go on stream in a maximum of 30 months.
