Rafsanjani Submits 1996-97 Draft Budget To Parliament

Total expenditure under the Iranian draft budget for the year 1375, which starts on 21 March 1996, is projected at IR138,000bn ($78.9bn at the official rate of $1=IR1,750), an increase of 43.8% over the previous year 1374.
