Algerian-Libyan Oil Company Makes Significant Discovery At Guerara

The Algerian-Libyan Oil Company, a 50-50 joint venture between Algeria'sstate-owned Sonatrach and Libya's National Oil Corporation, has made a"significant" oil discovery at Guerara, some 190 kms. northwest of theHassi Messaoud oil field, according to the company's general manager, Mr.Ibrahim al-Shibani.
