Sweden Formally Approves Saudi Private Acquisition Of OK Petroleum

Sweden's Ministry of Trade and Industry has given its formal approval forthe $1.2bn acquisition of OK Petroleum by the Saudi private group CorralPetroleum Holdings AB. The Swedish cabinet had already approved the purchaselast March, but the deal could not be closed until the necessary investigationshad been carried out by specialized government agencies (MEES, 21 March).
