Oman Opts For LNG Project On Gas Front
The Omani Minister of Petroleum and Minerals Mr. Sa'id bin Ahmad al-Shanfari,announced on 17 May that his government would go ahead with its 5mn ton/yearliquefied natural gas (LNG) venture. At the same time, it will continue to studythe feasibility of a 2bn cu. ft./day natural gas pipeline route to India. Omanhad to choose one of the two projects because of the limited amounts of gasreserves available at the present time...
