Iranian Refining Capacity And Product Demand

The following information on domestic refining and oil product demand in Iranhas been obtained by MEES from sources at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC):

- Design capacity of refineries (b/d):

 Tehran 215,000 Isfahan 200,000 Tabriz 80,000 Shiraz 40,000 Lavan 20,000 Kermanshah 15,000 Abadan (current) 230,000

- Total refinery losses are equal to about 3% of feedstock, or approximately24,000 b/d.
