Oil Production Costs In Kuwait
MEES understands that the cost of crude oil production in Kuwait currentlystands at around $1.80/B, compared to approximately $1.50/B prior to the Iraqiinvasion in August 1990. The cost increased sharply immediately after production was resumed in 1991 and reached over $5/B due to the low production volumeand huge expenses at the time. In 1992 the production cost averaged around$2.50/B.
