Balexco Sets up New Aluminum Joint Venture with Italy's Finleader
The Bahrain Aluminum Extrusion Company (Balexco) - owned 80% by thegovernment and 20% by private investors - has set up a joint venture withFinleader of Italy to utilize the increased output of the Aluminum Bahrain(ALBA) aluminum smelter, which is undergoing a $1.45bn expansion project toincrease its capacity to 460,000 tons/year by 1993.
