Iraq Puts Khabbaz Oilfield on Stream
Iraq has started production from a newly developed oilfield in the northernpart of the country. The field - called Khabbaz - has a capacity of 40,000 b/d.Development of the Khabbaz field, whose reserves are estimated at 2bn barrels,began in 1987 but was suspended during the Gulf conflict.
