Alba Raises $70mn Commercial Loan
Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has raised a $70mn loan to finance powersubstations, switch gear and transformers, and to link its own operations withthose of the local Rif'a power station. Five banks will provide the money:ABN-Amro, The Arab Investment Company, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, British Bankof the Middle East, and National Bank of Bahrain.
