Yemen Doubles Retail Price of Gasoline
The Yemeni Government decided at a meeting held on 17 October to double theretail price of gasoline on the local market in view of the worldwide increasein the price of oil as result of the crisis in the Gulf. Gasoline prices in theYemen were raised from YR3.00 ($0.25)/liter to YR6.00 ($0.50)/liter.
