Iran Petrochemicals to Get $7.5bn Investment during 5-Year Plan
Iran will spend $7.5bn to develop its petrochemical industry during thecurrent five-year plan, according to Mr. Ahmed Rahgozar, Deputy Oil Minister andHead of the National Iranian Petrochemical Company (NIPC). Mr. Rahgozar told theIranian news agency IRNA on 29 April that "of the $7.5bn required for thepetrochemical projects, $3bn will be made up of foreign credits and $2bn fromgovernment resources....
