Dutch Banks Guarantee $1bn of Payments from Kuwait to DutchCompanies
Dutch banks have signed a letter of intent with the Central Bank of Kuwaitagreeing to guarantee up to two million Dutch Guilders ($1bn) in payments toDutch companies for work in Kuwait. The banks' risk has been insured by theDutch export credit insurance agency NCM. The bank guarantee will mean thatDutch companies which are bidding for work in Kuwait...
