Algerian LNG for Japan
Algeria has agreed to continue for a second year to supply modest quantitiesof liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Japanese customers (Tokyo Gas and Osaka Gas).The first contract between the two parties was signed last year and provided fora volume of around 400 million cubic meters annually. It is understood that thequantity will be similar in 1990. One tanker shuttles between Algeria and Japanwith five cargoes annually.
