Significant Cut in UK Oil Production next September
Crude oil production from the United Kingdom will be reduced by some 370,000b/d (or a total of some 7.77mn barrels) during a period of three weeks nextSeptember, according to Lloyd's List on 31 January. The London-based dailysaid that the reason for the cuts would be the shutdown of four North Seafields for the installation of emergency subsea valves, which would take farlonger than the usual shutdowns...
