Iran Ends Gasoline Rationing
Iranian Oil Minister Gholamreza Aghazadeh has announced that the gasolinerationing imposed during the Gulf war is to be ended at an unspecified date. Mr.Aghazadeh told the Tehran daily Resalat on 15 February that "total gasolineconsumption in the country is 21 million liters a day (132,000 b/d), which isfully supplied by domestic refineries," and that the Oil Ministry isproposing to sell derationed gasoline at 40 riyals a liter....
