Oil and Gas Output Totals 50Mn Tons in 1988-89
The report of Egypt's Central Bank for the fiscal year July 1988-June 1989states that the country's production of crude oil, gas and condensates duringthe year amounted to 49,963,000 tons (see Table 1), which is slightly lower thanthe 1987-88 output figure of about 50.2mn tons.
