JORDAN
BP Farms in with Hunt Oil in Jafr Concession
The Jordanian Natural Resources Authority has approved the agreement betweenBP Petroleum Development Ltd. and Jordan Hunt Oil Company under which the formerwill take a 50% farm-in interest in the latter's 8,806 sq. km. concession at al-Jafrin southern Jordan. Hunt Oil will continue to be the operator and plans to spudits first well in a few weeks.
