NRA Discovers Gas in Northeast Jordan
The Jordanian National Resources Authority (NRA) has made a gas discovery in the Risha 3 wildcat which was drilled in the northeast area of the country, near the Iraqi border. The well was drilled by Romania's Rompetrol under a contract with the NRM.
NRA officials have, so far, declined to give any details on the size of the discovery and whether the structure is a natural gas reservoir or the gas tap of an oil structure, pending further...
