SAUDI ARABIA AND KUWAIT REJECT OIL PRICE INCREASE FOR 1988
King Fahd ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz of Saudi Arabia has reiterated the view - firstexpressed earlier this year (MEES, 25 May) - that oil prices should remainunchanged until the end of 1988 at the earliest, and has indicated that hiscountry will only consider such a move if there is firm evidence of an increasein oil demand.
