BG Brings Sequoia Offshore Gas Field On-Stream
BG has announced the delivery of first gas from its $1bn Sequoia project, which is designed to maintain the companys Egyptian gas output levels of around 2.4bn cfd. A company spokeswoman declined to give details of Sequoias gas production capacity, only saying that the purpose of the project was to make up for the natural decline in BGs production and keep it at a plateau.
