MIGA Agreement Goes into Effect
Mr. Barber Conable the World Bank President, announced on 12 April that theagreement establishing The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), anIBRD agency to guarantee private sector investment in developing countries, hasgone into effect following the ratification of the agreement by the US and UKwhich raised the subscribed capital of the agency above the required minimum.
