AID FLOWS
Israel and Egypt Receive Same US Aid as Last Year
A last-minute compromise negotiated in the US House of Representatives andthe Senate allocates Israel $3bn and Egypt $2bn in military and economic aid,the same amounts as last year. The over-all aid package, which still needsPresident Reagan's approval, totals $13.37bn - $1.15bn less than in the lastfiscal year and $2.1bn less than requested by the President.
