IRAN
Sri Lanka Signs for Iranian Crude
Iran is to supply Sri Lanka with 240,000 tons (around 4,800 b/d) of crude in1987 under an agreement reached during the recent visit to Iran of the SriLankan Finance Minister, Mr. Ronald de Mel (MEES, 5 January). The crude will bepriced at the new official OPEC price, and in return Iran has agreed to importat least 13mn kilograms of Sri Lankan tea during the year.
