Canada Grants C$15mn to Egypt
Canada has provided a grant-in-aid totalling C$15mn ($11.3mn) to Egypt to finance imports of Canadian raw materials, under the terms of an agreement signed in Cairo on 22 June. The Canadian funds are to be made available over the next three years and will cover imports of coal, newsprint, wood pulp, synthetic rubber and sulfur.
