Iraq and US Sign Trade Agreement
Iraq and the US have signed a five-year renewable trade agreement aimed at expanding commercial exchanges between the two countries. The agreement, signed by Iraqi Trade Minister Muhammad Salih and US Acting Commerce Secretary Clarence Brown in Washington on 26 August, is intended to reduce obstacles to trade and investment and to simplify visa procedures for business travelers.
