Tractebel Pulls Out Of Kazakstan
Belgian energy group Tractebel announced on 28 April that it will sell all its holdings in Kazakstan to the state-owned gas transport company KazTransGas for $100mn and leave thecountry. A joint press release said the detailed terms of this payment should be decided before 15 June.
