AID FLOWS
FAO and IFAD Allocate $66mn to Sudan
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has agreed to grant Sudan $60mn worth of food supplies and agricultural equipment for famine-stricken areas. The International Fund for Agricultural Development will also lend the country $6mn for the purchase of locally produced seeds and sorghum during the next five years.
