Opposition to Oil Policy Suspected as Motive for Ahmadi Explosions
Senior Kuwaiti officials have suggested that the explosions at the Mina al-Ahmadi refinery/terminal complex south of Kuwait city on 17 June were caused by sabotage, and were possibly motivated as much by opposition to Kuwait's current oil policy as by other, more general political considerations.
