Qatar Cuts Production to 280,000 b/d
MEES learns that Qatar has cut its crude oil production to 280,000 b/d in November in line with its new quota agreed upon at the OPEC conference in Geneva last month. This represents a sharp drop of something like 150,000 b/d from the output level of around 430,000 b/d - over 40% above the then OPEC quota of 300,000 b/d prevailing earlier in the year.
