IRAN BOOSTS CRUDE OIL SALES
After languishing output in October when Iranian production fell to something like 1.7mn b/d, Iran has been boosting its oil sales substantially in November, particularly to Japanese buyers. Production is now estimated to be averaging 2.3-2.4mn b/d. This is only slightly over Iran's new OPEC quota of 2.3mn b/d, but on the present showing December output could rise significantly higher, perhaps to 2.7-2.8mn b/d.
