IDB Lends $57mn to Turkey, Bangladesh and Pakistan
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) agreed to provide three loans worth $56.8mn to Turkey, Bangladesh and Pakistan, according to agreements signed last week. Turkey will receive $35mn to purchase crude oil from Iraq, Bangladesh $20mn to import refined petroleum products from an IDB member state, and Pakistan's Sapphire Fibres Ltd. $1.8mn to purchase industrial tools and equipment.
