Chinas February Imports Down 8.5% On Month To 11.73Mn Tons
Chinas crude oil imports for February totalled 11.73mn tons (3.06mn b/d), down 8.5% from 12.82mn tons in January and down by 17.9% from crude oil imports in February 2008 of 14.29mn tons. Saudi Arabia remained as Chinas largest source for crude oil with imports amounting to 3.19mn tons, or about 27.2% of all of Chinas crude imports for the month.
