New Energy Minister In Jordan
Jordan has appointed 'Alai Bataynah as its new Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources in the cabinet headed by Prime Minister Fayiz Tarawnah, which was sworn on 2 May. Mr Bataynah replaces Qutaiba Abu Qura in the outgoing cabinet of Prime Minister 'Awn al-Khasawinah, which resigned at the end of April after six months in office.
