Dubai-Based Gulf Petroleum Products Shipping Company Formed
The setting up of a Gulf petroleum products shipping company, Gulf Energy Maritime (GEM), was announced on 6 May. Based in Dubai, GEMs owners are Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC 35%), Abu Dhabis International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC 30%), Oman Oil Company (OOC 30%) and Thales (under the UAE Offsets Program) 5%.
