Centrica Pens 2Bn LNG Deal With Qatargas
British utility Centrica announced on 23 February that it had entered into a three-year contract with Qatargas for the delivery of 2.4mn tons/year of LNG to the UKs Isle of Grain terminal. This deal is said to provide enough gas to meet around 10% of UK annual residential gas demand.
