Theboard of Enterprise Oil has accepted a 4.3bn takeover bid by Shell, which mayaffect participation in Irans South Pars Phases 6, 7 and 8 field development project. While takeovers normally lead to the reduction ofstaff and operational back-up in areas where the companies assets overlap, asfar the Middle East is concerned the only country where there is a potentialduplication is in Iran....
