SPC Makes New Gas Discovery In Block 22
The Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC)has discovered a new gas field with a capacity of 7mn cf/dof gas in Block 22 in the Bir Abu Jadyregion, just west of Raqqah in the north-eastern partof the country. SPC is due to carry out further drilling on the concession.Syrian gas production stands at 767mn cf/d. Croatia痴 INAmade its second gas discovery in the Palmyra area inJuly (MEES, 12 August).
