Irans National Petrochemical Company (NPC) has awarded a contract to Lurgi Oel-Gas-Chemie of Frankfurt for the construction of one of the worlds largest methanol plants at Bandar Assaluyeh on the Gulf coast, where gas from South Pars is to be brought ashore for processing.
