And Upgrades Rating Of NBK
CI also announced on 23 December that it hadraised its long-term sovereign ceiling for Kuwait from A- to A. At the same time, it upgraded the long-term foreign currency rating of National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) from A- to A. CI attributes the move to the ongoing process of structural reform being undertaken in Kuwait, coupled with the continuing rise in the price of crude oil and petroleum products and budgetary discipline....
