NIOC Announces More Oil and Gas Discoveries
The Director of Exploration at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), Mahmoud Mohaddes, announced on 20 August the discovery of new oil and gas reserves in two onshore fields in Iran. Some 1.07bn barrels of oil reserves were found at the Changuleh oilfield in the Ilam Province in west Iran and 800bn cu ft of gas reserves were discovered at the Zireh gasfield north of the Kangan field in Bushehr Province in south Iran....
