Ahli United Bank Appoints New CEO
Bahrain-based Ahli United Bank the product of the merger between United Bank of Kuwait (UBK) and Al Ahli Commercial Bank announced on 28 September that it had appointed 'Adil al-Labban as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. In a statement, the bank said Mr Labban will be replaced at the UK-incorporated UBK by Alex Jablonowski, who previously headed Barclays worldwide corporate and institutional business.
