Oman LNG Is Officially Commissioned Under Budget
Omans Sultan Qaboos bin Sa'id on 14 October officially commissioned the countrys liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant and export terminal at Qalhat on the sultanates eastern coast. The Oil Minister Dr Muhammad al-Rumhy said the project, built by Chiyoda-Foster Wheeler, had been completed at 20% less than its original budget of $2.5bn.
