The Omani Minister of Petroleum and Minerals, Mr. Said bin Ahmed al-Shanfari,signed on 9 June the joint venture agreement setting up the Oman LiquefiedNatural Gas Company (OLNGC) which is to operate and manage the downstream sector of a $9bn project for the production and export of LNG.
