World Bank Plans Initiative To Close MENA Infrastructure Gap
The World Bank Group announced on 10 October that it is setting up, in cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank, a regional initiative aimed at securing up to $1bn to close the infrastructure gap currently afflicting the MENA region. To maintain growth rates at current levels and boost economic competitiveness, the MENA region will need to invest $75-100bn/year....
