US Classifies Jordan痴 Al-Hassan As Qualifying IndustrialZone
The US government has approved the Jordanian Al-HassanIndustrial Zone as a Qualifying Industrial Zone (QIZ) from which merchandisemay enter US markets without payment of duty or excise taxes and without anyrequirement for reciprocal benefits. According to 'Amman-based Atlas InvestmentGroup (AIG), this represents an unprecedented opportunity for businesses togain duty-free access to the US market.
