Lebanon Plans To Convert Power Plants To Gas Firing
Lebanon痴 natural gas needs could reach as much as 4bn cubicmeters/year (BCM/y) by 2012 as a result of the projected expansion of thecountry痴 power generation capacity to 2,100 MW from the current level ofaround 1,200 MW. Lebanon also plans to convert its existing power plants, allof which are currently fired by diesel or fuel oil, to utilize natural gas.Lebanon stands to reduce electricity production costs...
