Ericsson And Syria Telecom Sign $120Mn Contract
Sweden's Ericsson announced on 7 June that it had signed a $120mn contract with theSyrian Telecommunications Establishment (SET) for the installation of a million-linedigital network that will be completed over a four-year period. Next month, Ericsson willsupply and install AXE switching equipment, transmission and energy systems. The contractis part of SET's $500mn program to modernize Syria's phone network....
