Correction
With reference to the article on "New Offshore Bank in Bahrain," whichappeared on page B5 of MEES, 22 June, the Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC) hasinformed MEES that GIC has no stake in the newly-established Investors Bank(al-Mustathmirun) and that Mr. Uqail al-Janahi, a board member of the new bank is neitherassociated with GIC nor is he known to it, as the article suggested. We regret anyinconvenience caused by the said article.
